Cedar Falls Farmer’s Market
The Cedar Falls Farmer’s Market will be opening for the season on Saturday, May 5th. They are open every Saturday from 8:30 – 12:00 pm starting the first Saturday in May and ending the last Saturday in October. On these Saturday mornings you can stroll the streets around Overman Park and find anything from fresh fruits and vegetables, to baked goods, plants & flowers, crafts, jewelry, popcorn, eggs & much, much more! The Farmer’s Market specializes in fresh vegetables and baked goods, locally grown or baked. They prohibit the sale of products not grown, baked or harvested locally. This year they will be welcoming two new comers to their Saturday festivities; Sista Skirt’s clothing and Mama Made organic baby food. Each week the Farmer’s Market also offers local civic groups the opportunity to share their cause with the Cedar Valley. Some examples of these organizations are the UNI Suzuki School of Violins, Master Gardeners, Altrusa, the Humane Society and many more.
